The Process

The first and most important step for me is to build trust. We do not do any work for a client until we have achieved a relationship where you are comfortable with us and want to build long term relationship, where we can meet as regularly as you would like.

Secondly, we set out goals in easy 5 year chunks that are re-reviewed every year and also a plan for your retirement aims. You tell us what you need to achieve to be comfortable and we will explain in simple terms what you need to do to try and hit the target.

If you like the plan, we start our long term relationship and work on the plan each year.

Starting straight away is imperative. Procrastinating or putting it off could have adverse effects that we want our clients to avoid.

Part of our job is educating you gradually into the different asset classes, explaining the effects of inflation and how to utilise your tax free allowances.

The next step is to meet face to face to explore your questions in more detail and to see if we are a good fit for a long term relationship.
